We start out our 2012 March Field AirFest video coverage with an interview with the Wings & Rotors Air Museum.  Shayne Meder talks to our own Julie Sims about their Bell UH-1B Huey Gunship that was on display at this year’s March AirFest.  This is one bad helo with some serious attitude on display.  This is the only flying version of this model today.  We would like to thank the Wings & Rotors Air Museum for spending time with us.  To find out more about this or other aircraft, please go to http://www.wingsandrotors.org,

Wings and Rotors Air Museum is a non-profit 501c organization that could use your help, please give a donation if you can.

Wow! Your videos bring me right at the airshow. Your coverage is complete, informative and intertaining. This website shows that there are lots of aerial shows being performed almost weekly in our neighborhoods throughout the country.

Certainly the Blue Angels will be missed, but it is not the fault of those puntitg on the Rockford AirFest that this happened. The fault lays clearly on Dave Koss, commanding officer of the Naval Flight Demonstration Squadron, due to a lower-than-normal maneuver during a recent flight demonstration where not only the individual pilots safety put into jeopardy, but many of those on the ground spectators safety were also put into jeopardy. As for paying for the VIP tickets or paying for the lower admission tickets in advance, we should all realize that things can happen that will cause such changes in venue. If you already bought your tickets for the AirFest, go enjoy the rest of the show, knowing that your safety is a concern!

  2. Gerry Reid says:

Love all your videos. Very professional coverage!
